Cobalt on your phone & tablet

1. Open app.cobalt.photos in Safari and sign in.
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow). On iPhone it can sit behind the … menu next to the address bar.
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. Don't see it? Tap Edit Actions at the bottom of the list and add it there.
4. On iOS 18 and newer, make sure Open as Web App is turned on, then tap Add.

Cobalt now opens full-screen from its own icon, like any app. These are Apple's own steps — see the official guide. The Share route works the same on iPad.

1. Open app.cobalt.photos in Chrome and sign in.
2. Tap ⋮ (More) next to the address bar, then Add to home screen → Install.
3. Follow the on-screen prompt — Cobalt installs like a regular app.

1. Open the board you're taking on the shoot and tap the cloud icon in the top bar (on a phone it's in the ⋮ menu as Make available offline).
2. The whole board downloads to the device — every photo in full resolution, notes, the shot list, sub-boards included.
3. Manage what's saved under Settings → Offline — sizes, dates, and a one-tap remove.

Saved boards live in this device's browser storage. If the device runs critically low on space, the system may reclaim it — the board then shows "Removed by the system" in Settings and a single tap saves it again.
